Prof (Dr) S. Srinivasan

Dr S. Srinivasan has over 33 years of experience in teaching and research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He earned his PhD from Utkal University, Bhuvaneswar, with a focus on the impact of globalization on industrial workers in unorganized sectors, specifically regarding social security laws.

The professor’s teaching and research interests include Constitutional Law, Labour Law, Social Security laws, Public Law, Child Rights, Right to Education, and laws related to Social Justice. He has participated in numerous conferences and seminars related to legal studies.

He is passionate about organizing group activities for law students and experts, including seminars, conferences, training programmes, moot courts, competitive events, and a model parliament.

He has participated in over 30 national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops, and published approximately 30 research articles in national and international journals. He is a recognised PhD supervisor at Pondicherry University, produced 5 PhD scholars, and evaluated over 26 PhD theses. He is frequently invited to deliver lectures and is a member of various professional bodies and expert committees of universities and academic bodies. He was also appointed as a Special Officer by the Government of Puducherry to establish a National Law University in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
